Supervisor to join their operational team on the Isle of Wight.

Supervisor will oversee field-based teams and specialist subcontractors while supporting the planning and coordination of day-to-day activities.
The role combines office-based planning and administration with regular site attendance, providing a varied and rewarding opportunity for an organised and people-focused professional.
The Role
As
Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating workforce activities, ensuring resources are effectively deployed and maintaining high levels of service delivery across a range of environmental and operational services.
Key responsibilities include:- Leading and directing operational teams to achieve programme requirements
- Scheduling and coordinating routine and reactive works
- Managing grounds maintenance activities including grass cutting, vegetation management and related environmental services
- Supporting drainage, cleansing and seasonal operational programmes
- Planning labour, plant and material requirements
- Monitoring productivity, quality and health & safety performance
- Investigating and resolving customer queries and service issues
- Conducting site inspections and operational audits
- Managing supplier and subcontractor performance
- Tracking expenditure and assisting with budget control
- Producing reports and maintaining operational records
About You To be considered for this Supervisor opportunity, applicants should have: Essential- Previous supervisory, team leader or operational management experience
- Strong background within horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance or a related environment
- Experience organising field-based teams and workloads
- Excellent planning and coordination abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable- Knowledge of seasonal or winter response activities
- Experience managing external contractors and subcontractors
- Understanding of operational performance and service delivery contracts
