Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader - Home Condition to lead a team of surveyors responsible for delivering high-quality property assessments that support asset investment planning and energy efficiency objectives. Strong building surveying and construction management experience, including undertaking comprehensive property surveys within a housing association, registered provider, or similar environment. Previous experience managing and developing teams of technical or surveying professionals. Thorough understanding of the Decent Homes Standard and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS). Knowledge of the role housing plays in achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050, together with an understanding of PAS 2035 objectives. Working knowledge of stock condition databases and asset management systems. Experience building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and key decision-makers. Strong leadership and people management skills, with an understanding that leadership extends beyond job title and focuses on behaviours, influence, and outcomes. Ability to adapt leadership styles and approaches to achieve desired results. Sound knowledge of relevant processes, regulations, and legislation associated with the service area. Desirable CIOB, CIH, RICS, or an equivalent property surveying qualification (or working towards one). Accredited Domestic Energy Assessor qualification, or willingness to obtain accreditation.
