Managing the end-to-end bid process, you will craft compelling written content and collaborate closely with technical experts across multiple disciplines to produce exceptional submissions. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle across the infrastructure division, from inception to final submission, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, competitive proposals. Write, edit, and proofread persuasive and technically accurate bid responses, tailored to client requirements. Collaborate with subject matter experts, commercial teams, and delivery leads to shape winning strategies and facilitate solution development workshops and reviews. Coordinate closely with Bid Coordinators to maintain timelines and uphold quality standards across all deliverables. Analyse tender documentation to extract key requirements, identify win themes, and ensure full compliance with client and internal governance. Support post-submission activities, including clarifications, presentations, and feedback reviews. Support internal knowledge sharing and coaching of more junior team members. Skills, Knowledge and experience Proven experience as a Proposals Manager in infrastructure (minimum 3 years' experience), ideally with exposure to the highways, energy, rail, or nuclear sectors. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling and original content. Strong project management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple bids simultaneously. Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of industry standards, procurement processes, and compliance requirements in infrastructure. Desirable: APMP or similar bid/proposal management qualification. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe (Acrobat and InDesign). This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Pre-Construction Coordinator, Bid Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Assistant Design Manager, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, or similar professional looking to take the next step into a fully-fledged pre-construction role. Working alongside experienced Pre-Construction Managers, Commercial teams, Designers and Project Managers, you will play a key role in the successful development of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects from initial enquiry through to contract award. Key Responsibilities Assisting with the management of the pre-construction process from tender stage through to project handover. Supporting preparation of tender submissions, bid responses, presentations and client proposals. Coordinating and managing RFIs, tender queries and design information. Assisting with take-offs, cost plans, cost comparisons and value engineering exercises. Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations. Supporting procurement strategies and package tendering. Coordinating project documentation, drawing registers and programme information.
