The successful Flooring Quantity Surveyor / Estimator will play a key role in both estimating and commercial management, supporting projects from tender through to final account. About the Role
This role combines estimating and commercial management responsibilities across a varied portfolio of flooring projects. Approximately 80% of the workload supports projects delivered within the wider group, with the remaining 20% involving direct external clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for flooring projects.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Managing project costs from award through to final account.
- Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports.
- Procuring subcontractors and materials where required.
- Monitoring project profitability and commercial performance.
- Working closely with operational teams to support successful project delivery.
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
- Supporting continuous improvement across estimating and commercial processes.
