Your new role Due to a significant programme of remedial works across an extensive education portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead project delivery, quality assurance, and site operations across multiple locations. This is a unique hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of a Project Manager, Clerk of Works, and Facilities Manager, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a significant programme of building fabric and remedial works across multiple locations. Reporting into the senior technical leadership team, you will be responsible for translating building condition and structural survey data into practical work programmes, managing delivery teams, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.Key responsibilities include: Reviewing survey reports and developing remedial work programmes Planning and coordinating works across a multi-site estate Managing and scaling teams of technicians, handyperson's, decorators, and fabric specialists Conducting site inspections and quality assurance checks Managing snagging processes and ensuring high-quality contract delivery Monitoring progress, programme milestones, and material spend Building strong relationships with school leadership teams and other stakeholders Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, CDM regulations, safeguarding, and statutory requirements What you'll need to succeed Experience in Facilities Management, Building Surveying, Construction, Building Services, Clerk of Works, Site Management or Technical FM environments Proven experience delivering remedial works, fabric maintenance, life cycle projects, or planned maintenance programmes across multiple sites Strong knowledge of building fabric and construction methodologies Experience managing direct labour teams, contractors, or trade specialists Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Strong organisational and programme management capabilities Commercial awareness and budget management experience Essential Requirements Relevant qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Building Services or a recognised trade background (HNC/HND, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH or similar Health & Safety qualification Full UK Driving Licence Ability to obtain or hold an Enhanced DBS Check What you'll get in return This is a highly visible role offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact across a large and diverse property portfolio. The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying, rectifying, and signing off painting and decorating defects in preparation for CML inspections. This role requires high attention to detail and the ability to work to strict quality standards within a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out painting and decorating snagging works on completed plots. Identify and rectify defects highlighted through Clerk of Works inspections. Use Site Audit Pro (or similar site quality management software) to review and manage snagging items. Utilise area stickers to clearly identify and track outstanding defects. Prepare plots to the required standard for CML inspections. Complete and maintain sign-off sheets as snagging items are rectified. Ensure all works are completed in line with company quality standards and programme requirements. Liaise with site management and quality teams to ensure timely completion of defects.
