Branch Manager The Role This is a senior leadership position with full operational and commercial responsibility for the regional Fire Protection business. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you ll play a key role in developing the existing South Wales and South West operation before helping establish and grow a wider Southern region. Areas covered include South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, the Valleys, Bristol, Gloucestershire, North Somerset and surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include: Full P&L responsibility for the regional business Managing CVRs and ensuring strong commercial performance Leading operational delivery across multiple contracts Managing and developing commercial and operational teams Maintaining strong client relationships with key framework customers Driving business growth across existing and new sectors Ensuring compliance, quality and health & safety standards are maintained Supporting business planning, forecasting and budgeting Working closely with senior leadership on future regional expansion Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency Branch Manager The Person The successful candidate will be an experienced senior manager with strong commercial awareness and a proven background leading profitable operations within property services. You ll be comfortable managing both people and financial performance and enjoy developing teams while building long-term client relationships. You ll ideally have: Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Contracts Manager, Regional Manager or similar senior leadership role Strong experience managing P&Ls and full commercial performance Experience managing CVRs and financial reporting Background within property services, refurbishment, maintenance, compliance, fire protection or related sectors Excellent leadership and people management skills Strong client relationship and business development ability Good understanding of compliance-led environments Knowledge of the Building Safety Act, fire compliance or control notices would be highly advantageous Experience within passive fire protection, cladding remediation or fire safety projects would be beneficial but is not essential Full UK driving licence Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates within property maintenance, refurbishment, planned works, social housing, fire protection, cladding remediation or other Building Safety Act-related sectors.
