We provide leading edge bespoke joinery to various commercial sectors and high-end residential markets. The role An ideal role for a person with team leader experience in the joinery industry leading the manufacturing of high-value and qualitative bespoke joinery. Responsibilities As a Joinery workshop team leader you will be required to: Manage the workload of all operatives in order that delivery dates are achieved Coordinate and oversee the workflow through the workshop (and resolve any problems identified) Organise the team to deliver high quality work and relevant quality controls Build team working relationships with strong communication skills Report on progress regularly within the business Review, comment and advise on drawings and cutting lists prior to issuing for production Responsible for overseeing the training and development of workshop apprentices and other workshop staff Maintain and develop good housekeeping within the workshop area Ensure all relevant health and safety protocols are adhered to Role requirements A strong team leader within the joinery industry A complete understanding of joinery manufacturing techniques and machinery Ensure effective manufacturing processes are adopted across all areas in the workshop An excellent communicator with staff, clients and within the business A keen eye for detail in the production of items to ensure items are high quality Ability to read and understand drawings (including manufacturing detail), specifications and production through to delivery Benefits Bonus scheme with company performance (with tax free up to certain limits) Overtime available after 42 and a half No weekend or bank holiday working

Bench Joiner About the Role We are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join a busy workshop team producing high-quality bespoke joinery. You will be responsible for machining components, assembling units and working from technical drawings to deliver work to a high standard and within deadlines. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists. Machine components from stock and assemble bespoke joinery items. Work to production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards. Liaise with Workshop Supervisors and Managers on progress or any issues. Follow all company quality, environmental and health & safety procedures. Support the wider workshop team and work overtime when required. Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Bench Joiner within a workshop environment. Strong joinery knowledge and ability to work from drawings. Good attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. Reliable, organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Bespoke joinery experience and relevant carpentry / joinery qualifications would be advantageous.
