Key responsibilities will include: Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting Supporting procurement of subcontract packages Preparing subcontract enquiries, comparisons, and recommendations Measuring and valuing subcontractor applications and variations Assisting with monthly valuations and cost/value reconciliations Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks/opportunities Supporting change control and variation management Assisting with preparation of final accounts Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams Ensuring commercial processes are followed in line with company procedures About You We are looking for someone eager to build a long-term career in quantity surveying within the construction industry. You will ideally have: Experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Trainee QS, or Graduate QS role Exposure to main contracting or construction project environments A degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline (or working towards) Good commercial awareness and strong numerical skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals Experience working on healthcare, commercial, or large-scale construction projects would be advantageous but is not essential.
