Civils Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator

An excellent opportunity is now available for a Civils Quantity Surveyor or Estimator to join a Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor based in Glasgow. They work on a variety of projects from Residential to Industrial that range from size up to 5million. If you have experience working on projects that involve reinforced concrete, drainage, surfacing and groundworks then you will be well suited for this role. This is an office-based role with some travel to site when required. Great opportunities to progress are also available.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse project costing for tenders.
• Prepare bill of quantities and tender/ contract documents.
• Ensure project remains within budget and on track financially.
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
• Value completed work and arrange payments.
• Identify and recommend ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Work closely with Senior employees and management teams.

Essential:

• Quantity Surveying or Estimating experience in a Civil Engineering environment.
