A leading Registered Building Control Approver (RBCA) is seeking to appoint a Registered Building Inspector to join its growing team covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious RBI looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive organisation. Applications are welcomed from candidates registered at Class 2A and above , including those keen to expand their competence and progress through the registration framework. The Role As a Registered Building Inspector, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of projects, providing Building Control advice, undertaking site inspections, and ensuring compliance with current Building Regulations and associated legislation. You will work closely with developers, architects, contractors and homeowners, offering practical solutions whilst maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and customer service. Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation. Maintain accurate inspection records and reports. Develop strong working relationships with clients and industry professionals. Provide practical and commercially minded Building Control solutions. Manage your own workload and project portfolio effectively. Requirements Registered Building Inspector (Class 2A or above). Good knowledge of current Building Regulations and construction practices. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
