Position: Site Manager - Facades Location: Birmingham - City Centre Client: My client has become a leading specialist in the building envelope, in particular Roofing/Facades. They have a full order book and are expanding around the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Site manager to run facades project in Birmingham. Skills & Responsibilities: Liaise with clients and develop good business relationships Ensure a steady flow of work is issued by the client(s) to maintain the site resource levels Survey potential works and submit reports to the commercial department for pricing Plan and be responsible for and co-ordinate site work in accordance with the instructions of the client and their Contracts Manager. Prepare the associated Site Works Plan(s) / Project Management Plan(s) Organise and deliver associated pre-start briefings and ongoing toolbox talks, and be able to complete and submit the associated paperwork Deliver in accordance with the programme for the site works and keep the Contracts Manager updated on progress Complete all necessary documentation to allow works to start, i.e. Site Specific Risk Assessment , etc. Deliver general toolbox talk training sessions and method statement briefings, and complete the associated paperwork Manage all sub-contractors and site visitors and ensure their safety during works Experience Experience in facades/Cladding essential Multi skilled in all aspects of building envelope First Aid CSCS Gold/Black card An understanding of relevant health & safety legislation SSSTS/SMSTS Good computer skills Professional attitude and ability to operate without supervision Capable of teaching and developing operatives

An established specialist contractor operating across the roofing, cladding and façade sectors is looking to appoint an organised and proactive Aluminium Scheduler . This is a key coordination role responsible for planning the manufacture and delivery of aluminium systems across multiple live projects. You will work closely with Design, Procurement, Contracts, Site and Fabrication teams to ensure materials are produced accurately, workshop capacity is used effectively and deliveries remain aligned with project programmes. Key Responsibilities Produce and manage fabrication and production schedules across multiple projects. Coordinate manufacturing programmes in line with site requirements and project deadlines. Liaise with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Site Teams, Design, Procurement and the Fabrication Workshop. Plan workshop activities to maximise productivity and minimise downtime. Update schedules to reflect design changes, programme movements and changing site priorities. Coordinate deliveries to ensure materials arrive on site when required. Maintain accurate production schedules, records and progress updates. Identify potential programme risks and communicate them early. Support workload forecasting and longer-term production planning. Ensure fabrication priorities remain aligned with client and project deadlines. Skills and Experience Essential: Previous experience in scheduling, planning, production coordination or a similar role. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects. Excellent communication and coordination skills. High attention to detail. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment. Desirable: Experience within roofing, cladding, façades, aluminium fabrication or construction. Knowledge of manufacturing or workshop production environments. Ability to understand technical drawings and fabrication information. Experience using production planning or scheduling software.
