The successful Quantity Surveyor will have: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction-related qualification Approximately 4-5 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a consultancy or contractor environment A sound understanding of cost planning, procurement, contract administration and commercial management Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong client relationships. The Quantity Surveyor will be offered: Employee-owned company Laptop, mobile phone and all required working equipment Ongoing training and professional development Support towards MRICS Chartership, including study leave where applicable Flexible hybrid working between site, office and home The opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting construction projects within a growing consultancy The successful Quantity Surveyor will join an experienced and supportive team, taking responsibility for the commercial management of projects whilst working closely with clients, contractors, and design teams. Key Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and detailed cost plans throughout all project stages Produce tender documentation, undertake tender analysis and prepare recommendation reports Administer contracts and provide commercial advice throughout project delivery Manage project costs, interim valuations, variations and final accounts Prepare accurate cost reports and procurement strategies for clients Attend client meetings and site visits, ensuring projects remain on programme and within budget Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors and the wider project team Support junior team members where appropriate and contribute to the continued success of the Quantity Surveying team This is a varied and rewarding opportunity to join a respected consultancy that values its people and offers genuine career progression.
