We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a project in Ilkeston, Derbyshire , involving the demolition and replacement of an existing damaged and cracked wall. The scaffolders and demolition contractor are already appointed, so the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day safe running of the site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with the programme. Key Responsibilities Manage the safe day-to-day operation of the site. Carry out site inductions for all operatives and visitors. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures. Liaise with the client and maintain a professional working relationship throughout the project. This is a full-time opportunity offering long-term work, competitive rates of pay, and the chance to build a career within the scaffolding industry while working on a variety of industrial projects. Key role and responsibilities for Scaffolding Labourer / Driver Assist scaffolders with the erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding structures. Safely load, unload and transport scaffolding materials, equipment and tools between depots and project sites. Carry out vehicle checks and ensure company vehicles are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition. Support the safe movement and storage of scaffolding materials on site. Maintain a tidy, organised and safe working environment. Follow all site health and safety procedures, RAMS and permit-to-work systems. Assist with general labouring duties as required across industrial projects. Work safely at height when required and under the direction of qualified scaffolders. Communicate effectively with supervisors, site management and other trades. Represent Denholm Industrial Services professionally on client sites at all times. Minimum requirements for Scaffolding Labourer / Driver Valid CISRS Scaffolding Labourer (COTS) Card. Previous experience working on industrial or commercial construction sites is preferred. Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. Strong awareness of health and safety procedures. Ability to work in physically demanding environments and at height when required. Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to travel to project locations as required.
