Ground Worker Voids Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum Location: Bedfordshire Job Type: Permanent Build Recruitment provides specialist recruitment services, supplying quality candidates on a temporary and permanent basis to leading organisations throughout the built environment from executive to operative level. We are currently working with a Housing Association seeking an experienced Ground Worker to join their responsive repairs team in Bedfordshire. Day-to-Day Duties Carry out day-to-day groundwork repairs in occupied residential properties. Complete paving, slabbing, concreting, and tarmac repairs. Excavate and reinstate footpaths, driveways, and other external areas. Undertake drainage repairs, including clearing, replacing, and installing pipework. Carry out fencing repairs and installations, including posts, panels, and gates. Reinstate external areas following utility or maintenance works. Maintain a tidy and professional approach while working in tenants' homes and communal areas. Safely operate hand tools and small plant equipment. Identify and report any additional repairs or follow-on works. Support other trades with minor make-good works when required. Experience in paving, drainage, fencing, concreting, tarmac, and general external repairs. Full UK driving licence. Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality customer service.
