This is a long-term opportunity working on one of the UK's most significant energy infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for coordinating supervisors, site teams and work fronts whilst supporting the Installation Manager in the safe and efficient delivery of the project. Essential Requirements: NG Person Previous HVDC Project Experience Site Management Experience on Major Power or Infrastructure Projects SMSTS CSCS Card 3 Day First Aid Manual Handling Working at Height CCNSG Safety Passport Strong Mechanical and Electrical Installation Background Experience within National Grid, SSE, SPEN, DNO or EHV Substation Environments Duties & Responsibilities: Lead all supervisors and site teams across multiple work fronts. Coordinate labour, plant, materials and engineering requirements to ensure programme delivery. Drive works to meet project targets relating to time, quality and cost. Work closely with the Installation Manager and wider project team. Identify programme risks and communicate potential delays in advance. Coordinate multiple contractors and work parties to ensure safe and efficient delivery. Ensure all works comply with QEHS procedures and project requirements. Assist with project documentation, site records and milestone deliverables. Promote and enforce the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance. Lead by example and maintain a positive site culture across the project. About You: You will be an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record delivering HVDC, substation, transmission, power generation, renewable energy or other major infrastructure projects. You will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and be capable of managing multiple supervisors and work fronts simultaneously within a fast-paced construction environment. This role would particularly suit individuals who have worked on National Grid, SSE, SPEN, HVDC Interconnector, BESS, Renewable Energy or EHV Substation projects and are looking for a long-term opportunity on a flagship UK energy scheme.
