Contract Scotland are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a leading construction business based in Elgin.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hands-on professional to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across the region.

The Role

Supervising projects from inception through to completion, you ll demonstrate a strong commitment to Health & Safety while ensuring quality and best practice remain at the forefront of all site activities.

As Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day running of site operations
  • Supervising trades and ensuring all workmanship is completed to the highest standards
  • Leading, managing, and motivating site teams and subcontractors
  • Ensuring all site paperwork and documentation is maintained accurately and up to date
  • Promoting and enforcing all SHE principles, including Covid-safe requirements where applicable
  • Organising labour effectively and ensuring plant and machinery are utilised efficiently
  • Overseeing quality control and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
What We re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a Site Manager role within the construction industry
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
