This role is based at Leicester Forest East Depot (LE3 3GA) and offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure improvements across the East Midlands. Working in partnership with National Highways , Amey delivers maintenance and response services across over 1,600km of motorway and trunk road network throughout the East Midlands. The Role As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of civil engineering works, managing site teams, subcontractors and direct labour while ensuring projects are delivered on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day site operations. Leading direct labour and subcontractor teams. Driving high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance. Planning and coordinating resources, labour, plant and materials. Monitoring progress against programme and implementing corrective actions where required. Managing site documentation, permits and reporting requirements. Coordinating temporary works and lifting operations. Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and stakeholders. Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications. They have over 1,400 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting eight long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances. Project: Working on a number of new water treatment projects across the Bristol Water area. The Role: Report directly to the Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager and your role will be to manage the design, construction, commissioning and putting to work of contracts. Ensure they are completed in the most efficient manner to the specification, within the time required and within the tender estimate without risk to the health and safety of all concerned while ensuring good customer satisfaction Responsibilities: Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to direct and subcontracted work force. Ensuring that the BMS is implemented at all stages throughout the project delivery process, i.e from tender handover to final completion. Maintain good client relationships at all levels. Ensure good relationships are maintained with joint venture partners and suppliers. Ensure sufficient trained personnel are available for the project.
