This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planning Manager to lead planning activities from tender stage through to project delivery while working across our Helensburgh project offices and Glasgow city centre office. Reporting to the Head of Planning , you will manage a team of Senior Planners and Planners, ensuring programmes are developed, maintained and delivered in line with VolkerStevin Planning Standards and business management systems. You will play a key role in driving project performance, managing programme risks, and supporting successful delivery on a nationally significant project. What You'll Be Doing Tender Stage: Lead all planning activities throughout the bid lifecycle. Develop and maintain compliant tender programmes. Identify programme constraints, risks, opportunities and contractual requirements. Establish construction methodologies, sequencing and delivery strategies. Work closely with estimators, operational teams and bid managers to develop robust programmes. Apply resource planning and levelling techniques across labour, plant and materials. Support value engineering initiatives and programme optimisation. Lead programme presentations and ensure effective tender handovers. Contract Delivery: Develop, manage and maintain contract programmes. Lead collaborative planning sessions with project teams. Produce programme updates, dashboards and monthly reports.
