Working Hours: 11:00 - 21:00

We are currently recruiting for two Streetscene Operatives to support environmental and frontline services within Dormanstown, North Yorkshire.
The successful candidates will help maintain a clean and tidy Borough through high-quality grounds maintenance, street cleansing, open space maintenance, and waste collection service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective street cleansing, grounds maintenance, and waste collection services.
• Maintain public spaces, foreshores, and town centre areas to a high standard.
• Protect, enhance, and promote access to community environmental spaces.
• Support the continuous improvement of frontline services through efficient working practices and excellent customer service.
• Liaise with council staff, public bodies, and members of the local community when required.
• Identify and report hazards or environmental issues outside of your direct responsibilities to your line manager.
• Work effectively as part of a team committed to improving the local environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Good awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Previous experience within grounds maintenance, cleansing, waste collection, or similar operational work is desirable.
