The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive mechanical services estimates across a range of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, residential, and heritage projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is commercially aware, technically competent, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team to secure high-quality projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed mechanical services estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Review employer's requirements and identify any risks, exclusions or value engineering opportunities. Produce accurate take-offs for all aspects of mechanical services including: HVAC Domestic water services Above ground public health services Heating systems Renewable technologies where applicable Process systems Specialist InstallationsObtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Build comprehensive cost plans using estimating software and Microsoft Excel. Liaise with clients, consultants and supply chain partners during the tender process.
