Location: London wide, site based (must live within 1 hour of Fulham, SW6) Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience, plus company vehicle, fuel card and overtime We're working with a well-established, family-run property maintenance group in Fulham to find an experienced, reliable Groundworker for their growing drainage division. This is hands-on drainage groundworks across residential and commercial properties in London: excavations, installations, remedial works and reinstatement. You'll work alongside drainage engineers, supervisors and labourers, and take pride in getting the job done safely and to a high standard. What you'll be doing: Excavation works for drainage installations, repairs and major remedial works, digging safely around live underground services Installing ACO drainage systems, channel drains, gullies, inspection chambers and underground pipework Constructing and installing precast concrete and plastic manholes, benching, covers and frames Installing, repairing and rerouting underground drainage pipework (PVC, clay, HDPE), including collapsed and defective drains Installing external soil and sewer stacks, rainwater pipework and connections to existing drainage Reinstatement works: concrete, tarmac, block paving, kerbs, driveways and external surfaces Operating small plant (breakers, compactors, cut-off saws, trench compactors) What you'll need: 5+ years as a Groundworker in construction, drainage, utilities or property maintenance Strong experience installing ACO systems, manholes, running pipework and external sewer stacks Experience in drainage excavations and reinstatement works Good understanding of underground services and safe digging practices Full UK driving licence (essential) Physically fit and confident with small plant and power tools CSCS, CPCS or NPORS plant tickets an advantage, not essential
