Senior Foreman/Woman
Location: Longside, AB42 4XS
Rate: 28.53 per hour
Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 (Monday - Friday)
Duration: Until December
A leading construction and infrastructure contractor is currently seeking an experienced Senior Foreman/Woman to support the delivery of a major Energy Hub project based in Longside , AB42 4XS.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong civil engineering and infrastructure experience to take a leading role in managing site operations, driving programme delivery, and maintaining the highest health & safety standards on a large-scale project.
Duties of the Senior Foreman/Woman include:
- Supervising and coordinating daily site operations and workforce activities
- Leading teams of operatives and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
- Ensuring programme targets and project milestones are achieved
- Maintaining and enforcing high health & safety standards across site
- Conducting site briefings, toolbox talks, and daily activity planning
- Monitoring quality of works and ensuring compliance with project specifications and procedures
- Liaising with site management, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate works
- Assisting with planning and sequencing of civil and infrastructure works
- Identifying and resolving on-site issues proactively
- Supporting overall project delivery through strong leadership and communication
Requirements of the Senior Foreman/Woman include:
- Valid CSCS Card
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Previous experience working as a Senior Foreman, Foreman, or Site Supervisor on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of construction health & safety regulations and procedures
- Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour team
