Housing Compliance Administrator - FLAGEL Experience Essential I am recruiting for an experienced Housing Compliance Administrator to join a busy asset compliance team within a social housing organisation. This is not a general administration position . Applicants must have previous experience working within a social housing compliance function and practical knowledge of the FLAGEL compliance areas . Candidates without this experience will not be considered. The Role You will provide specialist administrative support across statutory housing compliance, ensuring property safety records, works orders, appointments, certificates and compliance trackers are accurate, complete and kept up to date. You will work closely with compliance officers, contractors and internal property teams to monitor outstanding actions, chase overdue works and identify gaps that could place the organisation at risk of non-compliance. Key Responsibilities Providing administrative support across the FLAGEL compliance workstreams Updating housing compliance systems, databases and trackers Raising works orders using the correct compliance codes and job descriptions Scheduling statutory inspections, servicing appointments and remedial works Monitoring outstanding, overdue and out-of-target compliance actions Chasing contractors for appointments, updates, certificates and completion evidence Reviewing records to identify missing, expired or inconsistent compliance information Recording delays, variations, access issues, remedial actions and quality-control information Completing and closing works orders accurately Maintaining clear audit trails and evidence for assurance purposes Collating compliance performance data and producing routine reports Responding to queries from contractors and internal housing teams Escalating potential compliance failures, access issues and overdue safety works Supporting the team to ensure homes remain safe and legally compliant Essential Experience Applicants must have: Previous experience as a Compliance Administrator, Asset Compliance Assistant or Compliance Coordinator within social housing Practical experience working across the FLAGEL compliance areas Knowledge of housing landlord compliance obligations Experience maintaining statutory compliance records and trackers Experience raising, monitoring and closing compliance works orders Experience coordinating inspections, servicing and remedial works Experience chasing contractors for certificates and completion evidence The ability to recognise missing, expired or non-compliant records Strong knowledge of compliance data, audit trails and document control Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word skills Experience must include exposure to areas such as: Fire safety Legionella and water hygiene Asbestos Gas safety Electrical safety Lifts General administration, customer service or repairs administration experience without direct social housing FLAGEL compliance experience will not be sufficient.
