Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary/Benefits: 26k - 43k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover contracts in the Yorkshire and North West region. You will be joining a national outfit who are well-known and respected within the industry. Our client is seeking someone who is switched-on and able to manage their own workload effectively, as you will predominantly be working independently on site. Applicants must be able to prove strong technical experience and robust industry knowledge. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle, fuel card and overtime.

You will be travelling across: Leeds, Morley, Wakefield, Castleford, Normanton, Pontefract, Garforth, Mirfield, Batley, Huddersfield, Pudsey, Harrogate, Tadcaster, Skipton, Bradford, Keighley, Wetherby, Tadcaster, Doncaster, Mexborough, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Glossop, Bury, Burnley, Manchester.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Will hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalent
• Strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
• Experience working within a UKAS accredited company
• Confident in communicating technical matters
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Able to travel in line with company needs

The Role:

• Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Performing 4 stage clearances
• Carrying out full air monitoring duties, including: personal, leak, smoke, background and reassurance
• Collecting ACM samples from site
• Fibre counting
• Producing detailed technical survey reports and schematic drawings
• Working on a variety of removals projects, varying in size and scope
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
• Adhering to industry safety guidelines
