We are currently looking for a Stick / MMA Welder for a long term contract based between Forth Rail and the Tay Bridge. The role will involve in working on 6-10mm fillet weld, and a mix of day and night shifts with an enhanced rate for nightshift. Role will involve Saturday nightshifts also. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills. A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace is essential. As a Coded Welder (MMA) you will be required to work as part of a team on bridge repair project located in the Charing Cross Station area. Duties will involve the removal and re installation of existing steel work and plates alongside and underneath the bridges structure. You will be responsible for carrying out fillet welding on 6mm carbon steel plates. Shift 1 - 11:30am till 21:30pm (10 hours paid) Shift 2 - 21:00pm till 07:00am (10 hours paid) Please note: This is a 20 hour blockade. Therefore the shift is an ad hoc repair job - not full-time or long term works. This will lead to repeat job offers on similar projects if you perform well.

We are seeking a skilled MMA/ Arc/ Stick Welder to join a short term construction project in central Sheffield. You will join and fabricate metal parts in various processes, materials, and positions for construction and structural projects. The role requires high standards of safety and quality, with all welding work performed to project drawings and procedures. Salary £20 - £28 per hour, 8 am to 4.30 pm.
