We're looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a well-established company delivering heating, maintenance, and renewable energy services to social housing properties across Cornwall. If you're a qualified Gas Engineer looking for a secure, long-term role with excellent benefits and career progression, we'd love to hear from you. The Role As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems. Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns in occupied social housing properties. Completing work safely and in line with Gas Safe regulations. Ordering parts and managing jobs through to completion. Using a PDA to update job progress and record completed work. Providing excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes. Taking part in the out-of-hours call-out rota. What You'll Need Current Gas Safe Registration ACS Qualifications: CCN1 CPA1 CENWAT CKR1 HTR1 NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) City & Guilds Energy Efficiency qualification Previous experience in domestic gas servicing and breakdowns Social housing experience preferred Full UK Driving Licence DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one) What's On Offer? ? £40,000 - £42,000 annual salary ?
