J JOB: Class 2 HGV driver with HIAB Brick grab attachment qualification Location: Leeds Start date: Immediate starts / ASAP Hours: AM shifts starting between 6Am to 7.30AM Average hours per day: 9 Driver Hire Leeds East are looking to work with Class 2 Hiab drivers in the Leeds area. We have different shifts available from Ad-hoc daily, Weekly to 4 weekly. As a HIAB driver with brick grab attachment you will have experience with working for builders merchants and understand the reequipments of dropping of orders at either building sites or directly to a customer residential home. We know even the best drivers on the roads can pick up points on their licence so we can accept all drivers who have 9 points or less and have not been convicted for drink or drugs driving offences. THE ROLE The provision of a timely, friendly and dependable delivery service to our clients customers. Act as an ambassador of our clients business, working as part of a team ensuring that our clients customers’ expectations are not just met, but exceeded. Key Responsibilities: To: Provide an efficient, timely and dependable delivery service. Undertake manual loading on and off vehicles. Ensure that the vehicle is road worthy by carrying out appropriate checks on a routine basis. Ensure that delivery notes have correct signatures as per company policy. Actively safeguard against theft of company goods or property by being security conscious at all times. To perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the company. Working from the Nottingham branch with deliveries in the local area (no long haul or nights!!)
