Due to continued growth and an expanding workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Lead AC (Air Conditioning) Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled air conditioning engineer who is ready to take the lead on projects, oversee installations and maintenance, and provide technical support to both customers and engineering teams. The Role As a Lead AC Engineer , you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of a range of air conditioning and HVAC systems. You will also provide technical leadership to engineers on site and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key responsibilities will include: Leading air conditioning installation, service and maintenance projects. Installing, commissioning and maintaining a range of AC and HVAC systems. Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs. Supervising and supporting other engineers and subcontractors on site. Reading and working from technical drawings, schematics and specifications. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts. Ensuring all works are completed to the required technical and quality standards. Liaising with clients and customers in a professional manner. Providing technical advice and support to engineering teams. Completing service reports, job sheets and relevant project documentation. Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements and industry regulations. Managing materials, tools and equipment required for projects. Supporting the successful delivery of projects within agreed timescales. About You The successful candidate will have strong experience within the air conditioning/HVAC industry and be confident working independently while also providing leadership and support to other engineers. We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in air conditioning installation, service and maintenance. Confident diagnosing and repairing a range of AC systems. Experienced in leading engineers or taking responsibility for projects. Customer-focused with excellent communication skills. Organised, reliable and able to manage workloads effectively. Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team. Committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety. Flexible and willing to travel to various customer and project locations. Relevant qualifications and certifications such as F-Gas, City & Guilds/NVQ in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration , or equivalent industry experience would be highly desirable. A full UK driving licence is also preferred.
