We are seeking a highly skilled and design-led Senior Architectural Technologist to join a growing and well-established UK architecture practice delivering high-quality commercial developments across multiple sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take a leading role on complex, large-scale projects and play a key part in shaping design and technical outcomes from concept through to completion.

The practice operates across a diverse portfolio including Healthcare, Residential, Retail, and Industrial & Logistics, offering a strong mix of technical challenge, variety, and long-term project involvement.

The Role

You will lead the design and delivery of major commercial schemes, acting as Job Runner across all RIBA stages. This is a senior-level position requiring strong technical leadership, client engagement, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of large-scale commercial projects
• Manage schemes as Job Runner through all RIBA stages
• Coordinate consultants, engineers, and internal design teams
• Manage client relationships and key stakeholder engagement
• Ensure high-quality technical output and regulatory compliance
• Undertake CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act duties where required
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Maintain design intent through to construction delivery

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology (UK accredited)
• MCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist (essential)
• Minimum 8+ years experience in commercial architecture
• Proven ability to deliver complex, large-scale projects end-to-end
• Fully proficient in Revit (essential)
• Experience acting as CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act PD
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Confident managing projects independently
