The Cost Manager's Role The successful Cost Manager will join a leading, international construction consultancy based in Central London, working within a specialist infrastructure cost management team. They have over 1,400 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting eight long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances. Our client is part of Anglian Water' Alliance. The Alliance is set to deliver a record 2.6 billion of the water company's overall investment in AMP8, with much of this work specifically targeted at protecting and enhancing the East of England's natural environment and providing resilience to climate change. This investment portfolio forms part of Anglian Water's wider, record 9 billion proposed plans for AMP8, which will see a huge programme of much-needed investment between 2025 and 2030. The Role: This is an opportunity to play a leading role in one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes. The spend in the next 3-4 years will total more than 2bn, with a spend this year of 400m and forecasts of 500m and 600m in the following 2 years. You will need to have experience of handling this type of growth and attendant workload. This is a key leadership role, and you will be an integral part of the Management Leadership Team. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver the Alliance's commercial strategy, ensuring commercial performance consistently exceeds expectations.
