We are currently recruiting for a Main Contractor based in Solihull, specialising in Commercial Build Projects.
Document Controller roles and responsibilities
Manage and maintain all project documentation across a range of construction build projects.
Control the distribution, filing, and tracking of drawings, RFIs, technical submissions, and subcontractor documentation.
Work closely with site teams, design teams, and project managers to ensure all project information is accurate and up to date.
Ensure document control procedures are followed in line with company and project requirements.
Support the wider project delivery team with administrative and reporting duties where required.
Document Controller requirements
Previous experience working as a Document Controller for a Main Contractor within the construction industry.
Experience supporting construction build projects is essential.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience using document management systems and Microsoft Office packages.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within project teams.
Document Controller benefits
Salary between 35,000 - 40,000 depending on experience.
Hybrid working arrangement - 4 days in the Solihull office with Fridays working from home.
