They are a cash rich business with a turnover of 20 million and 90 % of the work is on a refurbishment projects. Their sectors they work in Retail, Commercial, Industrial, healthcare (to name a few). Projects range from 50k up to 5 million on refurb and small amount of new build projects. The role As an experienced Estimator/ Surveyor, you will be based out of the modern Birmingham office and will have a good understanding of both estimating and surveying, cost planning, bill of quantities. The split of the role is 70% Estimating and 30% surveying. An established and highly regarded construction and fit out contractor is looking for an Estimating Assistant to join its growing pre-construction team. The company delivers high quality commercial projects and is looking for someone with previous experience supporting an estimating or preconstruction function within the construction industry. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing experience and develop their career within a busy and established estimating team. Working as part of the estimating team, you will provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support throughout the tendering and estimating process. You will help keep tenders organised, ensure information is issued and received correctly and support the Estimators with the preparation and administration of tender submissions. The role offers hybrid working, combining time in the Central London office with the flexibility to work from home.
