Electrical Contract Manager Location: Office-based in Bellshill with some travel required Electrical Contract Manager. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to join a well-established and growing Facilities Management business. This is a key operational and technical position, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical contracts across a mixture of domestic and commercial properties . You will oversee the day-to-day performance of contracts, ensuring planned and reactive electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and to the required standards. Alongside contract management, you will provide technical leadership to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, with responsibility for electrical compliance, quality assurance and overall service delivery. The role covers a broad range of electrical services including installation, maintenance, inspection and testing , as well as renewable technologies such as Solar PV and battery storage systems . The Role Managing the day-to-day delivery and performance of electrical contracts across domestic and commercial properties Overseeing planned, reactive and remedial electrical works, ensuring agreed timescales and quality standards are achieved Ensuring compliance with NICEIC requirements, current Wiring Regulations, health & safety legislation and company procedures Reviewing and approving electrical certification, inspection reports, test results and associated compliance documentation Providing technical leadership, advice and support to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors Monitoring contract performance against agreed KPIs, SLAs, budgets and programme requirements Planning and allocating labour, materials and subcontractor resources to ensure effective contract delivery Carrying out quality assurance inspections, site audits and electrical compliance checks Investigating and resolving technical issues, defects, non-compliance matters and customer concerns Managing and monitoring engineer and subcontractor performance, workload and adherence to required standards Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments to ensure successful contract delivery Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality and cost control Maintaining accurate contract records, reports, schedules, certification and compliance documentation Promoting safe working practices and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with risk assessments, method statements and electrical safety procedures The Person We are looking for an experienced electrical professional who combines a strong technical background with previous experience managing electrical contracts, projects, engineers or operational teams .
