Join our Repairs Team at L&Q:
L&Q are looking for an experienced Multi trader/UPVC operative to work within our Reactive Maintenance Team.
*Our North London region is one of our largest operational areas, covering Hackney, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea and Barnet and Enfield. While successful candidates will be allocated a primary working area, they will be expected to work across the wider region ad hoc to support service delivery.
The role will be dealing with all aspects of internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.
Carpentry skills will be required for you to fulfil this role.
Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment. You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents we expect you to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service. Limiting follow ons and increasing satisfaction.
Our in-house maintenance team core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.
To be considered for this role candidates will require/be:
· Sound working trade knowledge and experience
· Experience gained within a Maintenance, site and or Housing environment.
· Able to deliver excellent customer service
· Right first-time approach
· Health and Safety Conscious
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Wide range of Multi trade skills

This is a bridge role between the labouring team and skilled trades, helping keep the project moving by picking up the smaller works and scope gaps that sit between different trades. The Role You will be working as part of the site team, carrying out a variety of general building, maintenance and making-good tasks. The role would suit someone who is practical, adaptable and confident tackling different jobs as they arise.
