Job Description: Finisher / Snagger Barker Ross are looking for a Finisher/Snagger to work on our client's new build homes at their Bardney site in Lincolnshire. This is an immediate start role with a reputable SME developer known for high standards and attention to detail. Location: Bardney, Lincolnshire Start Date: Immediate Pay Rate: 18- 20 Duration: 1 Month Key Responsibilities: Completing all final finishing works on internal and external areas of new build homes Working through snag lists issued by site management, NHBC, or customer care representatives Ensuring homes are completed to the highest standard before handover to buyers Rectifying any defects, cosmetic issues, or outstanding trades works Carrying out minor repairs, such as painting, silicone, patch plastering, carpentry fixes, and door/window adjustments Communicating progress with the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager to ensure timely completion of tasks Maintaining a clean and professional working environment in finished plots Requirements: Previous experience in snagging/finishing roles on residential new builds A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering quality work Multi-skilled background (e.g. carpentry, decorating, light plastering or mastic work) highly desirable Valid CSCS Card Ability to work independently and take responsibility for meeting deadlines This role is ideal for a self-motivated, skilled individual who takes pride in ensuring that completed homes are presented in perfect condition. Your new company Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Finisher / Snagger to join a busy Social Housing Kitchen Refurbishment Programme. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established contractor delivering kitchen upgrades in occupied and void social housing properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all finishing and snagging works following kitchen installations, ensuring properties are completed to a high standard before handover. Your new role Completing snagging lists following kitchen installations. Adjusting kitchen units, doors, hinges, plinths, and worktops. Carrying out minor joinery, patch repairs, and finishing works. Making good around newly installed kitchens. Silicone sealing, mastic work, and general finishing tasks. Replacing damaged fixtures and fittings where required. Conducting quality checks to ensure completed works meet required standards. Working within occupied social housing properties whilst maintaining excellent customer service. Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience as a Finisher, Snagger, Multi-Skilled Operative, or Joiner. Experience working within social housing refurbishment programmes is highly desirable. Ability to complete high-quality finishing work with excellent attention to detail.
