We are looking for a reliable sparky to deliver high-quality electrical repairs, testing, and refurbishments across local residential properties. Key Responsibilities Repairs & Fault Finding: Troubleshoot single- and three-phase systems, replace electric showers, and swap immersion elements Testing & Certification: Carry out EICRs, PAT testing, and issue Electrical Installation / Minor Works certificates. Safety & Compliance: Work strictly to current BS 7671 (Part P) regulations and report urgent H&S defects directly to the Qualifying Supervisor. Job Management: Log jobs digitally via mobile/PDA and manage van stock accurately. Requirements Essential: Qualifications: C&G 2330 (or equivalent) + C&G 2382 (18th Edition). Licence: Full UK Driver's Licence. Experience: Proven track record in domestic fault-finding, repairs, and customer-facing service. On-Call: Willingness to participate in an Emergency Out-of-Hours rota. Tech Skills: Comfortable using smartphone/PDA applications for daily workflows. Desirable: C&G 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing certification. Health & Safety Note: Candidates must pass Face-Fit testing for safety masks, which requires being clean-shaven (exemptions apply for medical/religious reasons).
