Roof Truss Designer Birmingham Salary DOE Full Time, Permanent A specialist construction and manufacturing business is seeking a Roof Truss Designer to support the design and delivery of timber roof truss solutions. This role exists to strengthen the technical design function and assist in producing accurate, buildable designs that meet client requirements. It would suit someone with around three years' experience in roof truss design who is looking to further develop their technical capability, including exposure to estimating. As a Roof Truss Designer you will: Produce detailed roof truss designs in line with customer specifications and building regulations Use CAD software to create accurate technical drawings and layouts Liaise with internal teams and external customers to clarify design requirements Support the estimating process by preparing material take-offs and cost inputs Ensure designs are structurally sound, efficient and cost-effective Review project specifications, drawings and architectural plans Maintain accurate design records and documentation Assist with revisions and amendments based on feedback or site requirements Experience Required: Minimum 3 years' experience in roof truss design Proficiency in CAD software for technical drawing Strong understanding of timber engineering principles and roof structures Familiarity with UK building regulations relating to structural design Would you like to hear more?
