URGENT: General Operative (Yard Based) Location: Wallows Lane, Walsall (WS1 4AG) Start Date: Monday, 10/08/2026 Type: Full-Time / On-Site About the Role We are currently recruiting a reliable and hard-working General Yard Operative to join our client's team at their depot in Walsall. You will be working on-site to assist with day-to-day yard operations, helping ensure the site remains efficient, organized, and safe while operating machinery and supporting general operational duties as required by the client. Key Responsibilities Safely operating Forklift Trucks (Reach and Counterbalance) to load, unload, and move materials around the yard. Assisting our client's team with general yard maintenance, tidying, and organization. Staging stock and materials efficiently for daily site operations. Strictly adhering to site health and safety guidelines at all times. Requirements Valid Forklift Truck Licences: Must hold both Reach and Counterbalance qualifications. Previous experience working in a yard, depot, or industrial environment. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability. Full PPE (Safety Boots, High-Vis, Gloves, Hard Hat).
