Job Description
We are working with a well-established and highly respected civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Sub-Agent for their growing team in Aberdeen.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineering professional to join a busy and expanding business delivering a range of infrastructure and civils projects across the North East of Scotland. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. As the Sub-Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Supporting the Site Agent with the day-to-day management of civils projects
Coordinating site activities to ensure work is completed safely and on programme
Managing subcontractors, labour, and plant on site
Ensuring quality standards and health & safety procedures are maintained at all times
Assisting with site documentation, reporting, and project planning
Liaising with clients, engineers, and the wider project team
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience working within a civil engineering environment
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures
Excellent organisational and communication skills
The ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
A proactive and collaborative approach with a strong attention to detail
