Decorator

We are looking for an experienced and professional Painter and Decorator to join a social housing team, This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled trades person to work on residential properties, delivering work to the highest standard. You ll be part of a supportive team, with opportunities to expand your skill set and assist other trades.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out all types of painting and decorating works, both interior and exterior
Prepare surfaces using appropriate methods and materials
Select and apply a wide range of finishes, including paint, varnish, and wallpaper
Install carpet tiles and stair nosings as required
Procure necessary materials and equipment for jobs
Use a mobile app to complete job sheets and documentation
Work within high-end residential environments, maintaining cleanliness, discretion, and attention to detail at all times
Ensure all work is completed to an impeccable standard, aligned with client expectations

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience within social housing or maintenance work
Proven track record in residential maintenance work
Ability to work independently and flexibly, including overtime or out-of-hours work if required
Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
