Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: 25k - 36k DOE + Training & Benefits

A specialist Air Hygiene/Fire Damper company is looking for an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer based in the Midlands area. The ideal candidate will hold TR19 ticket and BESA Fire Damper Testing & Installation certificate. And can get off to a flying start completing kitchen extract cleans, maintaining AHUs, writing meticulous reports and fault finding. Experience / Qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge of TR19 regulations
• Worked for a successful fire damper / air hygiene company
• Proficient IT skills
• Working to set deadlines and meeting targets
• Adaptable to travel to client sites
• Beneficial to obtain the CSCS card and BESA Fire Damper Testing & Installation certificate

The Role:

• Carry out kitchen extract cleans
• Drop testing and inspections of fire dampers
• Undertake fire damper remedials
• Spot flaws and advice on repairs
• Maintaining AHUs
• Keep pre and post work photographs and notes for accurate and precise reports
• Complete ductwork surveys, evaluating the safety and functionality
