The Role As a Fire Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting a range of fire safety services, including: Assisting with and undertaking Fire Risk Assessments. Carrying out compartmentation surveys and inspections. Fire door inspections and compliance reporting. Retrospective fire strategy reviews and development of fire strategy documentation. Providing practical fire safety advice to clients and project teams. Producing high-quality technical reports and recommendations. Liaising with contractors, building owners, and duty holders to ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation and guidance. Travelling to client sites throughout the North West and Yorkshire. About You To be considered for this position, you will have: A recognised fire safety qualification (Level 4 or above preferred). Experience delivering Fire Risk Assessments within a consultancy or similar environment. Knowledge of compartmentation surveys and passive fire protection. Experience inspecting fire doors to current industry standards. Understanding of retrospective fire strategy work and relevant fire safety legislation. Strong report writing and communication skills. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region. Professional memberships or accreditation (such as IFE, IFSM, CABE, or equivalent) would be highly advantageous.
