This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile education development, taking responsibility for setting out, quality control, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Setting out works using GPS and robotic total station equipment. Producing accurate records and as-built surveys. Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Supervising subcontractors and ensuring work is completed in accordance with design requirements. Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications. My client is a long established, leading Civil Engineering Contractor. They are presently delivering a infrastructure project in Bicester and are looking to add a Site Engineer to their team. The project comprises section 278 works, drainage, and a new car park. The Site Engineer will be responsible for setting out, as-builts and quality assurance. This is an approx. 4-month initial contract with the possibility of continuous work in the are for the right individual. Duties & Responsibilities Setting out roads, structures and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations) Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management) Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
