Job Description: Our Client is a well-established Industrial Waste Management and recycled aggregates company, providing reliable waste collection, recycling and aggregate supply services across the region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced HGV 2 Grab driver to join their professional hard-working team As an HGV Class 2 Grab driver, you will be responsible for operating a grab lorry to collect, transport and deliver waste materials, recycled aggregates, and construction- related products safely and efficiently. You will work closely with site teams, customers, transport planners to ensure excellent service delivery. Duties: Operate an HGV Class 2 Grab vehicle in a safe and professional manner. Collect and deliver waste materials, recycled aggregates, soil and construction products. Load and unload materials using the vehicle mounted grab crane Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks and report any defects complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately Ensure compliance with transport legislation,health & Safety regulations and company procedures. Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on site and the road. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all goods are loaded, secured and delivered safely and professionally. Ensure all required paperwork is completed at point of delivery/collection. Provide excellent customer service. Operate in accordance with training and Policies & Procedures. Ensure the delivery vehicle is roadworthy and daily vehicle walk rounds have been completed and recorded. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to work across a portfolio of commercial properties, carrying out high-quality painting and decorating works to ensure buildings are maintained to a professional standard. Key Responsibilities Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works. Prepare surfaces, including sanding, filling, stripping and priming. Apply paints, varnishes, stains and other finishes to a high standard. Hang wallpaper and carry out decorative finishes where required. Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks across multiple sites. Protect fixtures, fittings and surrounding areas during works. Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations. Report any defects or additional maintenance issues identified on site. Liaise professionally with site managers, clients and other contractors. Essential Requirements Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator within commercial or facilities management environments. Own tools and PPE. Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship. Desirable CSCS Card. Experience working on facilities management or maintenance contracts. IPAF or PASMA certification (advantageous but not essential).
