Key Responsibilities Carry out a wide range of multi-trade works (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, plastering, repairs, and finishing works) Undertake works in both occupied properties and new-build plots Deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance, and finishing tasks Represent the business in a professional and customer-friendly manner Manage workloads independently based on job allocations Communicate progress updates and complete tasks within agreed timeframes Use initiative to complete jobs efficiently and to specification Work Planning & Travel Jobs are surveyed and scheduled by the management team, with operatives assigned accordingly Work is regionally allocated where possible to reduce travel time Areas covered include Essex, London, Kent, Norwich, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Stevenage, Buckinghamshire , and surrounding areas Flexibility is required as work locations may vary Working Hours Typical working hours on-site: 9:00am - 4:00pm (customer-facing work) Flexibility required depending on job completion Early finishes possible, while still receiving full day pay Operatives are expected to use initiative to complete tasks efficiently (e.g. finishing jobs rather than returning the next day) Salary & Benefits 33,000 - 39,000 per annum (depending on experience) Company vehicle provided Fuel expenses covered (weekly reimbursement - submitted Thursday, paid Friday) 21 days annual leave + bank holidays Pension scheme (NEST - standard employer contributions) Stable, permanent role within a growing business Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative Strong all-round skillset (e.g. first fix, second fix, general finishing) Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and manage workloads Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Professional, reliable and presentable Experience working within social housing or new-build environments is highly desirable Interview Process Face-to-face interview (preferred by client) Fast turnaround for suitable candidates, with immediate starts available About the Company A growing business established for over 3 years , delivering property services across both private and social housing sectors , working closely with major developers and housing associations.
