Experience within the social housing or building maintenance sector is highly desirable, along with schools, universities, museums, must live with 20 mile radius of Fareham. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical testing and inspections. Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs efficiently. Undertake full domestic rewiring projects. Complete electrical installations in kitchens and bathrooms. Install and maintain domestic heating systems. Diagnose and rectify electrical faults within your area of expertise. Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and resolve issues effectively. Complete all work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while minimising downtime. Liaise with the Resource Controller and Supervisor, reporting any issues that may impact service delivery. Adhere to all Health & Safety policies, using risk assessments, method statements, and appropriate PPE. Maintain accurate job records, including photographic evidence where required. Ensure all company tools, vehicles, plant, and equipment are kept clean, safe, and in good working order. Provide a professional and courteous service when interacting with tenants and customers. Skills & Attributes Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly. Professional, approachable, and customer-focused, particularly when working in occupied homes. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities. A positive, flexible, and "can-do" attitude. Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety. A CSCS card would be advantageous. Live within good travel distance of Fareham 20 mile. Essential Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent) Essential. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Full UK Driving Licence. Enhanced DBS check (required prior to employment). AM2. Experience 2 5 years' experience working within Social Housing, Property Maintenance, or a Building Maintenance environment.
