The Role
As an Estimator, you will be a key contributor to the tendering process, producing accurate and competitive cost estimates that support the company's continued success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Collaborating with internal teams including commercial and project delivery
- Supporting bid presentations and client engagement where required
About You
- Proven experience as an Estimator within construction or refurbishment
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of tendering processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
