We're looking for skilled engineers to join a growing team carrying out customer-side water mains repairs, leak detection and new service installations across domestic properties. The Role You'll be responsible for diagnosing, locating and repairing leaks on domestic water supplies, as well as installing and replacing water service pipes. Working independently, you'll manage your own workload while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Locate and diagnose leaks on customer-side water supplies. Carry out excavations and reinstate driveways, footpaths, paving, concrete and tarmac. Install, repair and replace domestic water service pipes. Complete repairs from internal stop taps through to external boundary connections. Use CAT & Genny and other utility locating equipment prior to excavation. Work with a variety of pipe materials including MDPE, copper, lead and legacy pipework. Provide excellent customer service while working in occupied homes. Complete work safely and in accordance with industry standards. What We're Looking ForWe're interested in candidates with experience in: Water mains repair and installation. Customer-side leakage detection. Domestic water service replacements. Excavation and reinstatement. Leak detection using listening sticks, ground microphones or similar equipment. Safe excavation practices and buried services detection using CAT & Genny. Independent field-based engineering work. Desirable ExperienceExperience in any of the following would be advantageous: Trenchless moling. Customer-side Find & Fix programmes. Supply tracing, Cobra tracing or gas tracing. Boundary box and point-of-entry installations. Cutting and capping. Insurance-related leakage repairs. Ideal BackgroundsYou'll likely have worked for a water utility or specialist contractor specialising in water mains and customer-side services. What's on Offer Competitive salary.
