Relevance Role Estimator / Senior Estimator Major Projects

We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Estimator or Senior Estimator to support the pre-construction/commercial team on a range of major developments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in high-value schemes, working on large-scale commercial and hospitality projects ranging from £30M up to £250M+ across the North West and wider UK.

You will play a key role in the pre-construction and commercial planning phases, supporting projects through to delivery.

The Role

Working as part of an established team, you will be responsible for the preparation and management of project cost estimates. Duties will include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Analysing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Managing and coordinating subcontractor and supplier enquiries
• Assessing risks and value engineering opportunities
• Supporting bid strategy and commercial input during tender stages
• Liaising with commercial, design, and delivery teams

Requirements

• Experience working as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within construction
• Background in main contracting environments
• Experience working on large projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of pricing, cost planning, and tender processes
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines

Package

• Approx. £450/day
• 2 days per week (site-based)

Location

On-site role with parking provided, covering projects across the North West and wider UK.
