Estimator

CRS are working with a well-established specialist contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator for their Falkirk-based commercial team.

This role suits an Estimator with a construction or specialist contracting background who is confident pricing works, preparing tenders, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Estimator responsibilities:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for construction and enabling works
• Reviewing drawings, specs, and tender information
• Completing quantity take-offs and pricing schedules
• Sourcing and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Producing cost breakdowns to support tenders
• Supporting bids from enquiry to award

Estimator requirements:

• Experience as an Estimator within construction or specialist contracting
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Proven tendering and estimating experience
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
• Good communication and IT skills
